Beginning Sewing - Evening class

Do you have a sewing machine just sitting in the closet, maybe still in the box, because you don’t know how to use it?
These classes are for you!
April 1, 8th and 15th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
*Designed for the absolute beginner
Session One: Learn your sewing machine
Session Two: We will learn to use a rotary cutter and cutting mat, cut and sew a pillowcase.
Session three: We will cut fabrics with a rotary cutter and sew a table runner.
Supplies needed for pillowcase: 1/3 yard of 45" fabric for the pillowcase top, 1 yard of 45" fabric for the body of the pillowcase and thread. Please stay away from stirpes or directional fabrics.
Supplies needed for table runner: 1/3 yard of 45" cotton fabric (inside color), 1/2 yard of 45" cotton fabric (outside color) and thread to match outside color.
Please bring basic sewing tools to each class, such as: Rotary cutter, seam ripper, small scissors straight pins.
